Political Meetings

Throughout the course of our month long trip to Serbia and Montenegro we learned about the political climate and positions of the regions. Our learning focused on a wide range of political views presented by various political officials. We met with NGO's, the defense minister, the Embassy, professors and many other politicians.

Beograd, Serbia

Belgrade, Serbia is the city in which we stayed for 3 weeks. As a group we went to politicals meetings, explored the city, experienced their culture & night-life, and in general just had a blast. Belgrade is a wonderful, friendly city and definitely a unique experience.

Montenegrin Excursion

For 3 weeks we stayed in Belgrade, Serbia and for 1 week we stayed in Podgorica, Montenegro. For the duration of the week we resided on a villa next to the beach. These are some of our antics while we weren't on day trips and meetings.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

While staying in Montenegro, our group made a short trek took to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a day trip. This has easily been one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

Wonderful Countryside Visit

On this fine day we traveled through the Serbian countryside and eventually arrived at a massive underground cave. After we had lunch at the base of a gorgeous waterfall and hiked far above it. Additionally we visited two magnificent monasteries during our travels.

Monasteries

Throughout the course of our month-long trip, we visited monasteries in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. The architecture and planning put into these monasteries is impressive. When you see their beauty up close, it is breath taking.

Boat Trip

One beautiful day our group departed for a day trip on a boat on the Danube and Sava, in Belgrade. I could not have thought of a better way to spend the day, than lying out in the sun on a boat, learning about Belgrade from a riverside perspective and eating a delicious meal on the river.
